The Mission

Twenty Thirty advocates for the use of artists’ creativity to communicate the SDGs and inspire global audiences to take action towards a more sustainable future.

The Aim

Twenty Thirty enables dialogue and collaboration among artists using the most profound form of human expression: the arts. The project provides a global platform for artists to connect, share ideas and build original projects for sustainable development and the SDGs. Its results - arts events facilitated globally at major conferences, universities and schools will, inspire greater connection between individuals and communities.

  • Mobilize young people from around the world to create artistic projects that raise awareness of the SDGs.

  • Build a global network of young artists to co-create and inspire social change through art.

     The Problem

Sustainable development and the SDGs do not speak to everyone. The usual academic, technical                                 and scientific approach does not excite or engage the general public, in particular youth. The 2030 Agenda,               however, can be only achieved with involvement and leadership of people from various backgrounds,  sectors         and leaders. Without their  engagement we will continue working in silos and hence risk missing out       on the         opportunity of achieving the SDGs.

    The Solution

Through arts we can merge both the rational and emotional  understanding, inspiring positive action and                    engagement with the 2030 Agenda at a more profound level.

Arts Twenty Thirty achieves that through:

  1. An online platform serving as a showcase of artists and their artworks related to sustainable development and a platform for creativity and experimentation through the interaction of artists from across the world. We will encourage diversity and inclusiveness both through the artwork selection process as well as through various international initiatives.

  2. Arts events at political, economic, scientific and cultural forums related to sustainable development. The works featured will be selected for their quality and ability to portray the challenges and solutions to achieve sustainability.

  3. Arts events at universities, art schools, primary and secondary schools, where we will inspire a youth to take action on SDGs and make a positive change in communities.
